Before you Arrive / To-Do List


We’re excited you will be living with us this summer in Cornish Commons. We’re located in the heart of downtown Seattle, giving you access to everything our great city has to offer. As you start to make plans for your time here, we have a “to-do” list below to make sure you’re ready for move-in.

 

As you review, please let us know if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to help make your stay with us better!

 

☐ Once you've signed your contract, payment for your entire stay is due at check-in. Cornish Commons has a strict no payment, no key policy. We accept personal checks and cashiers check on site. You may also use our online payment portal ahead of time. 

 

Submit your photo. You will be issued an ID that will give you access to the building and your room. Having your photo ahead of time will expedite your check-in by 45 minutes to an hour when you arrive. Please make sure your photo is submitted by April 15th, 2025.

 

☐ Checkout the “What to Bring” section of our website to make sure you’ve got everything you need, and leave at home items we do not allow.

 

☐ Make plans for bedding, toiletries, and other room essentials. There is a West Elm and a Target within walking distance of Cornish Commons. If you have anything you would like shipped to Cornish Commons before you arrive, there is a FedEx office located across the street that will accept you items and hold them until you arrive. Any item shipped to Cornish Commons before you arrive will not be accepted, and returned to sender. You can learn more about the Hold At FedEx Location on their website.

 

☐ When you check-in, you will be given a username and password for the building WiFi and your mailing address will be assigned.

 

☐ Check-in is scheduled for on or after 1pm on the day your contract starts. When you arrive at the building, you can contact a staff member at 206-902-6371 and they will meet you at the front of the building and check you in. If you are going to be checking-in late (after 10pm), please schedule with us ahead of time.
